Product description
Sidecut polishing oil is developed for sharpening, polishing and cleaning steel edges with diamond stones and discs. It helps the tool work smoothly and produces a clean, well-polished edge with a fine finish and good grip on hard, icy snow.
Clean the diamond surface after use. Regular cleaning removes metal filings and extends the tool's life, making the oil a useful addition to your edge care equipment.
How to use the oil
- Apply a small amount of oil in a thin layer along the side edge.
- Use the diamond stone in a guide at the correct angle. Work with light pressure and maintain the angle.
- After use, clean the diamond surface with a small drop of oil. Spread the oil across the surface and rub it against a clean, coarse cloth to remove filings.
- Wipe the edge and tool clean. Leave the diamond tool to dry with its diamond surface facing upwards before storing it.
A little goes a long way: Use the oil sparingly and let the surface dry, especially when using self-adhesive replacement diamond sheets.
